MESA, Ariz. — Passengers flying out of Gateway Airport welcomed the opening of Paradise Bakery & Café, Copper Plate & Grill, and The Phoenix gift shop at the newly expanded Charles L. Williams passenger terminal.
Located beyond the security checkpoint, The Phoenix gift shop offers expanded shopping options including snacks, apparel, and tourism gifts. The Copper Plate & Grill, located across from The Phoenix provides a sit-down service experience, full bar, and satellite
“Gateway has earned a reputation of being easy to get in and out of and today all the talk is about Chef Gregory Casale’s green chile burgers at Copper Plate & Grill,” said Airport Executive Director, Lynn Kusy. “I believe we’ll see more of these restaurants
across the Valley and we can then boast about being their first location.”
Located pre-security at the Terminal’s Baggage Claim, the new Paradise Bakery & Café provides visitors an option of grabbing a meal before going through security, packing for their flight, or dining while waiting for their friends and family to arrive.
“We are glad to serve the travelling public as well as the local community at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway. Gateway’s free 30-minute parking makes Paradise Bakery & Café a great option for the thousands of employees that work at Gateway's Airpark and the surrounding
Campuses,” said PAFS - Paradise Bakery’s Nava Singam. “For those who are in a real hurry, they can call their order in advance.”
Advance orders and catering can be placed with Paradise Bakery at the Gateway Airport location by calling 480-388-3550.
